Jane Douglas, a 32 year old unemployed graduate, finds herself in trouble after intervening in a scuffle between her neighbor, Madam Agnes and her ward, an adolescent girl.

Jane is charged to court, where the evidence weighs heavily against her, and she is sentenced to community service in COAGBA. She is drawn into the world of gender-abuse victims, albeit reluctantly, but soon develops a strong passion towards transforming them into survivors.
